At Pearlescent Beauty, we’re proud to be an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming beauty salon in the heart of Driffield. After running a successful high-street salon for over a decade, Kirstin set out to create the space she had always envisioned, one built on warmth, confidence, and genuine connection. Along with her mum Michelle, and the lovely Jade and Issy, our friendly team offers a wide range of treatments including nails, waxing, skincare, massage, tanning, and aesthetic injectables.
The meaning of “pearlescent” is having an iridescent lustre like a pearl, and that’s exactly how we want you to feel when you leave our salon. From healthy, radiant skin after a facial, fresh new tan or aesthetic tweakment to fresh nails that shine with confidence, our goal is for every client to walk out feeling renewed, uplifted, and completely themselves.

Combining elements of the 8-point facelift with tailored placement of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, this treatment focuses on achieving balanced, refined results, leaving you looking refreshed, defined, and naturally radiant. Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation, where your facial structure is carefully assessed and mapped to create a personalised plan suited to your features and desired outcome. Pricing starts from £200 for 2ml. Additional product may be required depending on your individual facial structure and treatment goals, with additional ml charged at £80 per ml. Hi, I’m Kirstin, founder of Pearlescent Beauty & Aesthetics. With over 10 years of experience running a busy high street salon, I created Pearlescent to be the welcoming, inclusive space I had always dreamed of, somewhere clients feel completely at ease, like a true home from home.
I offer a wide range of treatments including nails, waxing, facials, and massage, alongside advanced aesthetic treatments. After completing my aesthetics training in 2023, I now specialise in advanced skincare, foundation and advanced dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters, and a range of wellness vitamin injections, helping you feel confident, refreshed, and glowing. Outside of the salon, I love to travel and spend time with my husband and our two children, who you’ll often see popping into the salon and adding to the relaxed, family feel we’re so proud of here at Pearlescent.

Hi, I’m Michelle, also known as the salon mum here at Pearlescent Beauty! I came into the beauty industry in my 40s and truly feel like I’ve found my vocation.
My passion is nails. I love creating bespoke sets inspired by our clients’ ideas and seeing the joy on their faces when they leave. I’m also a big fan of waxing… yes, even Hollywoods! There’s something really satisfying about helping clients feel fresh, confident, and cared for. I often say it’s the best job in the world, having lovely chats, lots of laughs, and helping people feel good about themselves.

Hi, I’m Jade, and I’ve been in the beauty industry for around 5 years. My favourite treatments to carry out are massage, facials, and waxing.
I love helping clients unwind, feel pampered, and leave feeling their absolute best. One of the things I enjoy most about my job is hearing how clients feel after their treatment; knowing I’ve helped someone relax and boost their confidence is the most rewarding part. You’ll also often spot me in our salon TikTok videos. I’m always up for a giggle and bringing a bit of fun into the salon while still making sure every client feels comfortable and cared for.
Issy: nails and facials
Hi, I’m Issy, the baby of the team here at Pearlescent Beauty! I completed my Level 3 apprenticeship in 2025 and have been working with Kirstin and Michelle since 2023.
My favourite treatments to carry out are nails and facials. I love helping clients feel more confident, comfortable, and like the best version of themselves. Seeing that boost in confidence after a treatment is what makes this job so special to me. Outside of the salon, I love to travel, with Greece being one of my favourite destinations.

Hi, I'm Madi, a Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist specialising in Lip Blush. I qualified in December 2025 and have a passion for enhancing natural beauty with soft, long-lasting results.
I take pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every client. I'm available in the clinic every Saturday and look forward to helping you achieve beautifully defined, natural-looking lips.
Foot care is with Vicky, our in-house, fully insured Foot Health Practitioner: diabetic foot care, corn and callus reduction, fungal skin and nail care and thickened nail management.
